Celebrating 50 years of Pride!
June 1969, New York – First ever pride weekend takes place. Some may know this to be the Stonewall Uprising or the Stonewall Riots, a series of violent demonstrations by members of the gay (LGBT) community against police at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighbourhood of Manhattan. The Uprising, or Revolution, is what sparked fire in the hearts of all those to continue celebrating what we now know as PRIDE; a world-wide festivity of truly engaging colourful events, embracing all from the LGBTQ+ communities.
July 1972, London – Three years later sees the introduction of the first “official” London Pride a year after 200 people from the UK Gay Liberation marched in central London. The event in 1972 attracted 2,000 people, which has now expanded to a million people in 2018!
July 2019, London – This year’s parade takes place on Saturday 6th July, after a full month of celebration events across the UK starting 8th June. A full list of over 90 events can be found here.
Observers will see more than 300 groups and floats representing their community as they travel from Portland Place to Whitehall. Passing; Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Pall Mall and Trafalgar Square along the way. The event starts at 12pm and concludes at 8pm.

The internal toy is the much-loved Deep Throat Onacup by TENGA, and the artwork is simply sensational. As a limited edition product, this will make the perfect gift this PRIDE for anyone with a penis whatever you identify yourself as! Or you can simply display it proudly as an awesome piece of art...whatever
